Ever have one of those weeks when it seems like everything just keeps going wrong? That has been this month for me so far. If it has not been one thing it has been something else. Going to stay positive, and starting with this post this month is going to get better.
Today I am very excited to be joining in on The Story Behind the Pic Linkup with Elle Sees (if you haven’t checked out her blog you are missing out on some great makeup tips).
The Story Behind the Pic
Posted this pic on Instagram a while back.
The story behind this pic is fairly simple. Even though it looks like I staged Arya somehow in the pic that was totally not the case. The pic happened 100% by accident. I had actually just got the Nikon D7100 (If you would like a review of the camera let me know in comments below), and I was just playing with it to start getting used to it. Started taking some random pics around this house. Arya happened to be laying on the bed, so I just started snapping some from different angles trying a few things out on the camera. As you can see in this pic I had taken too many pics of her, and she was getting a little annoyed with me.
Decided I would leave her alone and went into the living room to take a few pics in the living room. As I was playing with camera Arya just all of a sudden jumped up right in front of the camera and posed as you see in the pic I posted on Instagram. Just cracked me up cause it is like she got mad that I stopped taking pics of her, and wanted me to take more of her. Does not surprise me with the alpha personality that she has that she would want a pic taken of her lol. And that is the story behind the pic.
Thanks Elle Sees for hosting such a fun link up!
Does knowing the backstory make you look at the photo different?
P.S Look for a new Tuesday Tutorial next week!
awww she is hilarious! my cats are kind of the same, whenever i want to take a picture of them, they run away or start cleaning themselves. whenever i want to take a picture of something else, they walk in front of the camera to obstruct the view lol

It is totally like they get jealous, and just can’t stand it.
Totally looks like the cat is posing 🙂
I love the back stories to pictures – makes me look differently at the pictures – see the whole story 🙂

It really does. Still trying to get used to the D7100 it just has so many settings. Does take terrific pics. I am trying to get my Hawaii ones I just used it to take for first time
I feel like when I try to snap a picture of my dogs they get annoyed with me and try and run off. Like they can’t be caught looking all cute or something!

You’re welcome! Thanks so much for hosting the linkup. I am still getting used to the Nikon. With so many settings hard to know if you are using right one. I bought it cause a co-worker of mine showed me some pics she took off hers and the pictures were incredible.
She is so cute!!! My cats never pose for me! But when I talk on the phone they come running because they think I’m talking to them, its so funny.

My old cat wouldn’t pose, but for some reason she does. Cracks me up every time. Why I call her the little Alpha female.
